Hi all,

Putting together a machine but the board isnt a perfect fit, so I'm goign to lie it on the case, is there anything I can put between case and board so its not touching the case?

What you mean its not fitting? What size is mb? Atx matx ect? Make sure you have the brass mb standoffs in the correct holes for the size mb,you can't just lay it in the case and hope for the best,it will move around and short circuit,it needs to be securely screwed down ect

Its a stupid custom motherboard and the case is just made for that. The case won't be moving at all as it will be an HTPC and will just sit there. Was thinking of breaking off the stand-offs and screw them on so it keeps the board off the bottom.

Its a Ideq cube case and going to fit an ITX board in.

Hmm funnily enough I hadn't thought of that! Am I thick or what haha. Will have to get some stuff to do that then.
