Some of you may remember I posted last year (July I think, and this isn't the smash I had in the 19 it was my lovely new clio 
) that someone went into me on a roundabout, then denied all responsibility saying it was my fault.
They then changed their offer to 50/50, but still didn't give a credible account of what happened, and failed to answer any of the letters my solicitor sent challenging their story.
Finally my guys wrote to his insurer saying that we were taking him to small claims court.
Well today I got this:
"We have received a cheque from the other party which includes the sum of £947.83 due to you. A cheque for this amount, payable to you, will follow shortly".
Nice result
Car needs a new front wing and as I was being picky at the time a new wheel as the old one has a chunk taken out of it. Tyre was also damaged but that's already been done.
