Listening to this over and over and it means something but I was wondering what other peoples take on it is?

Does it need to mean anything or could it just be waffle? Just too lovely to not to be from the heart for me. What you reckon?

My heart ain't broken 'cause that implies
It was ever in one piece before tonight

Paradise is poison in my veins
Winter runs its fingers through the vapours that remain

Burn your books in the car
Fix your eyes on a star
And imagine you can handle the loss
Of a beautiful girl
Wrapped in black icy curls
Though your thoughts are like broken glass dragging you down

None of these roads ever lead
Ever gonna lead to your door
God knows I've been here before and
I don't need no long walk home down a loveless parade
Seems I was born in a dead man's suit
I was born in a dead man's suit

*Drunken* old Olympian in the blocks
Lousy on the trigger and his eye ain't on the clock
Feed me like a monkey and I'll swing
Deep inside the canopy where fire and ice are king

Burn your books in the car
Fix your eyes on a star
And imagine you can handle the loss
Of a beautiful girl
Wrapped in black icy curls
Though your thoughts are like broken glass dragging you down

None of these roads ever lead
Ever gonna lead to your door
God knows I've been here before and
I don't need no long walk home down a loveless parade
Seems I was born in a dead man's suit
I was born in a dead man's suit

Sister quick pull the cord
There's a horse on the ward
With a mouthful of diamonds for teeth
In a dusty old cape stands a man in its wake
Singing I got a woman that loves like an ocean and

None of these roads ever lead
Ever gonna lead to your door
God knows I've been here before and
I don't need no long walk home down a loveless parade
Seems I was born in a dead man's suit
I was born in a dead man's suit

Under trees that bear no fruit

A song can mean a lot or it can equally mean nothing other than a witty juxtaposition of lyrics, there is nothing to say that a song must have a deep meaning. If the lyrics mean something to you then great but bear in mind that may have nothing to do with what the lyricist intended, even if they intended anything by them. So in short I'd say that most will be interpreted subjectively regardless of whether there is a 'correct' answer or not.

I think I'd agree with helmet, I can't recall ever hearing that song but the lyrics don't scan as anything too special to me. :)

The vast majority of Radiohead songs have woeful lyrics, but that doesn't make them bad songs. I think interpretation is what makes a song special. Being too direct lets less people relate to a subject matter!

(Very strangely, I will sometimes change the lyrics of songs in my head... so they have more relevence to me :O)
