yesterday i installed a samsung 950 pro M.2 ssd 512gb on my motherboard while my other drives were still connected using window 7 pro

primary:Crucial M4 128gb ssd
slave: WD blue 500g

I then booted into windows and a pci error came up and no sound coming from my pc, but if i put the speaker cable into the front headphone socket i get some sound a bit muffled almost like someone was holding a pillow over it lol
the m.2 drive wasnt seen in windows but is in the bios i then tried a system restore but that didn't work so i then upgraded to windows 10 to see if that would solve my sound problem but alas no!
any ideas guys?

I think ive tried everything now i even went as far as to reset the cmos battery to see if that would help!
I searched google seams to be similar problems with sound on the Asus skylake boards 1
I've now contacted Asus regarding the problem

Hi guys it was a Sound fault on the motherboard and i got it replaced only thing to do now is put it all back together!
Do i need to contact Microsoft and tell them about my change of motherboard or should i be fine as it's the same model?

Good to know this if you have a Change of motherboard!

After reinstalling win10 pro which was upgraded from win7 pro i had to get it activated from micosoft which ment me phoning them up after a half hour of them tinkering through remote access they gave me a new licence very kind of them too!
