They're interchangeable. You can convert both ways.
ive see a few adaptors but they turn out to be m.2(ssd) to the wifi slotI'm aware of Key-E wifi, but not an adapter to convert a PCI-E card to a M.2 slot. What does the OP need to buy?
There are also m key to e key adapters. That look like an m.2 ssd but let's you plug an m.2 e key wifi card into it.
into the card. the vertical mount as a honeycomb on the back so i should be ok to force the mount into that. i just ordered some 60mm ones as the 15mm on the card itself wont reachAh yeah that will work sorry. You'll need to connect the antenna somehow though, do they plug in to the small card or the PCIE adaptor?
I'm assuming the card will probably actually fit in a PCI-E slot if you removed the metal bracket?
Looks to be the Cablemod bracket that has openings for the GPU only.
On the mini wifi card, how do you attach the aerials as it looks like it has small push fit connectors and all the aerials i have seen come with the larger screw in connectors.
@WARburton Can you not use power line plugs?
