m.2 WLAN card bracket - where to source one

I ordered a Dell SFF desktop machine and stupidly forgot to select a wireless option.

Dell have been useless at helping me order the missing part, I can't even get the exact model card or Dell part number out of them.

So I gave up and ordered an Intel Wi-Fi® 6 (Gig+) Desktop Kit which includes an AX200.NGWG. I know AX200 and AX201 are factory options, just not the exact variant used. Really hoping this one works with the drivers Dell supply for the AX200.

I don't think the Intel kit includes a WLAN card bracket to secure the MHF4 antenna wire connectors. I know they clip on but assume the bracket offers additional security, the Dell manual shows one is included with the factory option.

My questions are
  • Is the WLAN bracket strictly necessary?
  • Where can I get one? - just needs to do the job, not necessarily a Dell original part
Only place I've seen a bracket is with a used card on eBay and it's a bit dear just for a plastic bracket.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

I'd just wrap some tape around the end to stop the connections coming off. Not that they should though.
But I can see in a laptop your constantly moving around, the last thing you want is one to come off.

Seeing as it'll be in a desktop there should be zero movement on the connectors. Just wasn't sure how solid the antenna connection will be since Dell add a bracket.

Video I've since seen suggests removal can require a bit of leverage so looking like press fit should be enough on its own.

And there's always tape!

Thanks

Genius, thank you.

Can't think what search terms I used previously on eBay but the only results were a bracket with an actual card (which I don't need and was the wrong type anyway) which is a dear way to get a plastic clip and something revived from an HP machine that included the internal antenna face plate for the chassis. Who'd have thought the actual name from the Dell manual would return what I'm looking for.

Must have been more brain dead than usual after trying to learn all these new m.2 (plus variants E slot, 2230 etc.), MHF4, CNVio2 terms to make sure I order the right thing. Last time I had a desktop case open was nearly 20 years ago.
