thanks

yes, i looked at that one, but I scrathed my head at the pci express slots, i mean, do they both run at 16x or at 8x, or one of each

Only one I can think of is mine, the Asus P5Q-VM but I guess at 6 months old it's pretty old hat now, good overclockers BIOS though.
I think four memory slots is going to be a challenge in a M-ATX board mind.

I was in this situation earlier, nearly impossible to find any board with 4 x DIMM slots that supports 8 banks of memory, let alone SLI. I think all of the Gigabyte boards with 4 slots only support up to 6 banks (2x DS modules and 2x SS modules), there is a similar limitation on the ASUS boards, it's all to do with the chipset they use. One option would be to buy single sided modules but I have never seen anywhere that sell them, another is to only use 2 slots with higher capacity modules. Neither of these help if you already have the memory.

Most 775 mATX boards seem to be based on the Intel G3x or G4x series chipset which have these limitations. I settled on the Asus P5N7A-VM because I don't need SLI but I do need the 4 DIMM with 8 banks.

just ordered the asus board :)

The Asus P5N7A-VM has gone crazy on the video output connectors with VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. I was about to give up earlier but I spotted this board by chance and it supports all 4GB of my memory and also allows it to run without any limiatations. I was tempted to go to an i7 but £200 for the mATX motherboard soon put me off.
