Thinking of getting this card to suit my stereo and surround (DD, DTS) needs. I presume this care does bit-perfect output via SPDIF, but i take it the fact the specs say AC-3 and DTS passthrough means it will cope with any form of DD and DTS such as DTS-ES or DD Live.
Also, would i be able to connect headphones (Alessandro MS1), and eventually a headphone amp, directly to this card if i say didnt want to use an amp and speakers?
Not that i necessarily would do this in practice but would i be able to have SPDIF to my surround amp and analogue to a different stereo amp and use as required?
Im basically looking for a card for a HTPC that is flexible for stereo and surround sound.
