So, I've got a choice. Which would be best?
I'm tempted by the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 so I don't have to depend on Creatives apparently pants drivers. The VIA chipset is also support in Linux which is nice.
I'm currently using the ALC888 and for my music listening needs it just feels a bit too lackluster, better than most onboard sound though
The Revolution will cost me £25 2nd hand, so that price is also a plus.
Can anyone recommend what I should go for?
