M$ wireless headset problem

Seems like my M$ wireless headset will no longer pair with my controller. my controller is paired to quadrant 1 of the 360 and when i go to pair my wireless headset to quad 1 it keeps putting it on quad 2.. :confused:

Dont know whats happened as i havent really played on my 360 all that much lately. But does anyone know how to fix this??. ive tried resetting the headset then tried pairing but it keeps going to quad 2 and also tried re-pairing my controller as well but to no avail.

So anyone know how i get my wireless headset back on quad 1??.

turn your console on by pressing and holding the guide button on your controller

then about 10 secs later turn on the headset.

thats how i get mine to work

Nah tried that already and doesnt seem to want to connect to quad 1 of the 360...starting to **** me right off this stupid headset thing... :mad:

it happened to mine the other night after the battery in the wireless headset went flat & i plugged in the wired headset.

fixed mine doing this while signed into live:-

1. turned off the wireless pad
2. pushed sync on the wireless headset (now on quad 1)
3. plugged in my wired pad ( pad & headset now on quad 1)
4. unplugged wired pad
5. turned on wireless pad - both wireless pad & wireless headset back on quad 1 :cool:

you're pretty much stuffed TBH, the problem is actually with the wireless pad that comes with the premium pack.....

Just happened to a mate of mine. He called MS. They sent a new wireless pad free and he is up and runnning. Looks like a premium wireless pad issue.

That's interesting.. my original premium pad is broken, might be a good way to get it replaced FOC

Not only premium pads, my core pad has this exact problem. Had to go buy a new pad. Might call microsoft and get a free replacement if I shout loud enough hehe, worth a try.

my premium pad works fine with the wireless headset

just out of curiosity...do m$ ask for your old pad to be returned when you get a new one ?

Cheers for all the posts guys, sadly i havent got a wired pad...only wireless ones.
Dont know what happened as my wireless headset was on quad 1 but something went **** up and it now just sits on quad 2. Oh well might give M$ a call and see what they have to say about it...hopefully i might get a replacement wireless pad
