Not got around to even doing the first windows startup on mine yet. Just doing a Paragon backup of the hard drive first so I can restore it either back to the hard drive incase I screw it up or to a new SSD (when I get around to buying one)
 
No problems what so ever with the lappy and games so far .
ok be relistic i am not running bf3 with ultra tex and 16x aa , but at 1366 res there is no need , i have everything set to medium , and TBH i cant see much difference between that , and my old i5 gtx570 at 1080.
the screen is a bug bear though , as viewing angles are very limited , i expected more , but maybe i will fit and mac book air screen on to it later .
So far , great machine ;))))
 
Ok, so got my new m11x up and running today, swapped out the 750GB HDD for a Crucial 256MB SSD and upgraded the ram to 8GB. Decided to go for a clean install with drivers downloaded from Dell and nVidia and it's running a treat.

Boot time is around 20 seconds to desktop :)

The Killer nic is performing solid at 300Mb connection.
 
you guys got some pics of your m11xs? I really want one as they look awesome, although I'd have to wait for ages to get one :(

how are you finding yours after a month rippling?

damn where did you find that? I've been looking at the outlet quite a lot over the past few days and havn't seen any m11x r3s, that's an awesome deal :eek:

If you're not allowed to keep it can I have it? :p
 
lol already broke the news to my wife so erm no :) have an HP DM1 getting reset as we speak tho :)

Just popped up today, have been looking after my daughter, while feeling a little under the sun, spotted it while surfing for a replacement for my DM1, could not believe it so nabbed it :D Have been looking for quite some time, guess l was just lucky this time :D

Keeping looking fella l am sure one will crop up soon :D

Well you could spend several months out of the country like l do, tend to save a fair amount of cash even with the wife spending it :) You may need different attire to do my job tho :):eek:
 
Ah right a "little" young for my job mate :D keep checking tho hopefully you should be able to snaffle a bargian.
