M1530 audio out options

Thinking about buying one of these to mainly be used to play movies (hd movies) onto my lcd telly.

I know it has hdmi connector which passes through the sound, is this format in dolby digital surround sound and dts etc so I can hear the sound from all my 5 speakers.

Does it have spdif coaxial or optical?

Take at the review I did on my blog. Link is in my sig. I'm afraid there isn't any optical or spdif on the laptop at all.

I am now wondering if when connecting the hdmi connector to a hdmi port on an amplifier that would give proper surround sound.......
