Ok got my ssd today (crucial 128gb m4)

i have done a clean install of windows on it (changed nothing in the bios) now
i installed all the drivers that i think i need to install, including the alienware command centre. now to be honest am not 100% sure if i installed everything i was supposed to, the lappy seems to be working fine, so i used the resource dvd that came with it and installed the drivers from this. Is there a sure fire way to install only the drivers you need? this is the first time i have formatted a laptop and done a clean install. my past experience is all in custom built desktops where i had no issues with installing the right drivers etc.

if i use the tag number i get over 35 driver options to download, i think for this install i have just used 9.

i have put the old sata drive back in for now as i need to transfer some stuff from it :) however am rather reluctant to immediatly format it and use as a slave/secondary

cheers m8 very nice reading.

i belive i have everything up and running, have left the original drive alone for now ie not formatted it yet :)

i think that is what i will do and stash the original in a safe place for now, my warrenty is up in about 5 months anyway i suppose after the initial warrenty is up there is no point in worrying about the condition of the original drive?
