m17x R3 upgrading ram

what ram is considered the most compatible to get for my m17x r3?

at the moment i have PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM SO-DIMM

it is dual channel 2 x 2gig sticks timings 9-9-9-24

my cpu is the i7 2720qm

i want to put 2 x 8 gig modules in my machine, what do i need to be looking at.

You need to be looking at 2 x 8gb PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM SO-DIMM but check that it needs a bios upgrade.
