Hi .
I wasn't sure whether to put this in the general hardware or network threads so apologies if I've got it wrong.
I have a Maximus Hero ix which has a slot for an M2 Wifi chip. I decided to have a go installing one (I've never done it before) with some success.
I can get it to connect to my TV however it will only Miracast if I lower the resolution to 1280 x 720 (I think, i'm at work and did it last night)
My monitor runs at 1440p and I did suspect i'd have to lower the resolution for it to work on my Panasonic GT60b, However if i put it on the tv's native resolution of 1080p the screen goes black
I have noticed a setting in the bios has become available since I installed the M2 Chip and its set to x2
Does anyone know why I cant Miracast to my tv at 1080p?
help Appreciated.
