I was just driving northbound towards Bristol through the roadworks here. Now, previously there were average speed cameras with massive "50mph" signs followed by plenty of repeaters. However, this time, the layout had changed slightly. It had actually gone down to 1 lane, but I couldn't see any "50mph" signs until the first repeater which was AFTER the first average speed camera.
Just to be sure I re-drove the roadworks (all at 50mph to be sure) and confirmed the appropriate signs weren't there. If I do get a ticket, how would I contest it?
