I really like the look of the SPV M5000/MDA PRO/XDA EXEC phone and want to upgrade to that phone. The reason being I want to be able to use it for tom tom and also skype while at home using wifi.

Does anyone know if its poss to use skype on the M5000/MDA Pro/XDA Exec?

Has anyone used tom tom on it and if so is it any good? EG is the speaker loud enough and the display good enough for use while in the car?

What is the max memory you can upgrade to for this phone?

I understand the phone quality isn't too good and its suggested to use a bluetooth headset instead - is this the norm?

What is web browsing like on it? Is the screen big enough to see comfortably or is it all squished up?

What's the playback of video files like in media player?

Is it possible to use MP3 files as ringtones?

soz for all the questions but am really really tempted with getting an all in one solution for my mobby n pda needs!

Oh btw i aint too fussed about size as I got big pockets in any case!

speaker is loud enough. Display struggles in sunlight

biggest SD cards I have seen are 4GB

I find the phone quality OK, but most of my phone conversations are only a couple of minutes long. I also use a BT headset with a display and this effectively becomes my phone.

web browsing is OK. text can be a bit small though.

not tried

yes

download a third party media player, makes it easier to watch videos full screen, media player for me always boxes it in which i don't like.

when surfing the net you can change the view of web pages depending on what the site is like, most of the time i just scroll around.

as for phone quality, i find it quite acceptable and i am now used to spending 20mins+ on a single call, however i do recommend resting your arm every so often. ;)
