M6 - Good to go?

Hi chaps,

Just wanted to find out if anyone had been using the M6. I have someone coming up from Birmingham area its currently dry and sunny there but up here its snowing.

Does anyone know the current conditions on the full stretch of the M6 and whether its ok to drive etc?

Its fine mate, there are roadworks with a 50mph speed limit from J10 onwards though, they last about 5 miles each roughly but there are a fair few of them.

I did Liverpool to the Lakes last night, it was fine apart from the annoyingly long road works.
