Seven seconds later we pass 320kph – and the bonnet opens. Thankfully, substantial bonnet pins stop it from smashing into the windscreen causing an almighty accident, but it’s not exactly comforting when you’re riding shotgun.

the base supercharger kit on its own is £22,5000 for 635bhp

or £30,700 if you want 660bhp
