Anyone got one of these mobos and managed to run memory at 1800mhz? If so any chance of some pointers?

I had a couple of 1GB sticks of ballistix that ran at 1720MHz at 220fsb, and as my 24/7 oc was at 225 which equated to 1800MHz i went and bought some OCZ Reaper 1800MHz expecting to drop it in and away you go....but no. Doesn't seem to matter what i try i cannot get it running at the rated speed. I have tried looseing the timings, going slightly over the rated OCZ voltage. Nothing seems to work, there are a couple of voltage settings in the bios i'm not sure about so haven't upped them too much, can't remember exactly what they're are called atm i'll have to double check.

Am i doing something wrong or is it just asking too much of the mobo.

actually, it could be to much for the cpu!
The imc's on phenoms can limit the ram clock more than the ram itself- try raising cpu-nb volts (or cpu-imc, or imc or something along these lines). upto 1.3-1.35v should be safe 24/7 with decent cooling.

if that dont help, try single sticks, in all the banks and see if you have more luck that way. in the end tho, if running 220fsb lets you raise the nb-multiplier by 1 or 2 more than running 225 might do, go for imc-clock and tighten the timings and dont worry about the lost ram mhz, as timings + imc clock matter more to the phenom.
