Mac Anti virus software

just a quick question i understand that the firewall is already configured to withstand any attacks how about an anti virus which one if any do i need.

any help would be much appreciated

You don't need antivirus software.

Don't forget to turn your firewall on, it can be configured under the Sharing section of System Preferences. Also, choose the advanced section and enable stealth just to be on the safe side.

Anti virus is not needed (as of yet, I haste to add) but it does mainly filter any Windows viruses that will pass through your machine and kill them dead on the way, instead of infecting a Windows box at a later date.
