I have a new Macbook air which is working fine with no problems. However, I noticed in iStat nano that for the battery health it is already saying 96 % after 19 cycles. Is iStat reading the battery wrong or do I have a problem.

Thanks

Jeff

What has your use been like? Do you regularly let power out of the battery or is it plugged into the mains constantly?

Try calibrating it. Run the battery down until the laptop goes into a forced sleep, then leave it in this state untouched for at least 5 hours. Then switch it back on and charge fully.

Could be worse;

I got mine at the end of October and it's now on 96% Health after 41 Cycles.

Just looking here and Apple charge £99 to replace the battery, and will do it same-day in a Retail store.
