Mac Book + Further education discounts

Hi,

Has anyone managed to get a Apple FE discount at the regents street store?
I am a proper student with ID before you ask

I want to buy the base spec mac book which is about £600 with FE discount,

I don't fancy buying online because I'm not around to take deliveries and what not!

Also If i buy the base spec, I want to upgrade to 2gb ram, this is presumably just a case of putting some in yeah cos I don't want to pay over the odds for another gb of ram.

you can get all education discounts in store, and as for memory install its very simple to do and if you look on the support section of apple site they have a DIY pdf that explains how to do it all.

I thought the pdf is for FE discount conditions not the memory install

I've watercooled pcs before so i can definately isntall some ram in it.

What sort of identity do they want in the shop? Will a student ID card from uni suffice?

Does anyone know if the 3 year warranty applies in stores as well.

I've been told you have to pay extra for it?
