If your isp doesn't give you a mac code how can you migrate?

Just abuse em, if you have a usage cap, just hammer it over the top constantly etc.. you'll get a MAC then, in fact they'll ask you if you wan't to leave.

Well all you have to do is cease and reprovide,

Its a pain
It will cause downtime
It will cost extra because new isp will have to install stuff
It will only work if you have finished your 12month contract if there is one

Nope. As said, you can get the ADSL ceased and start again.

They aren't obliged to give out MAC keys, if that's what you mean.

Mine charge for overusage

£1 per 1Gb :eek:

Wish I'd read the details before upgrading to Max, I was on unlimited 2Mb, now I've got a 30Gb cap (I used to go through that in a week

)
