I got my MAC code off BT and used it to move to Sky Broadband but cancelled the day or two after. The migration didn't go ahead :)

So the same MAC code I got what I gave Sky, I used it to move across to AOL, should I have done this?

I don't think so, no, you'll have to get another MAC code.

AOL ouch, traffic shaping, FUP the lot on there since Talk Talk took over, i got out me while i could, should have gone to an Enta. reseller, your only allowed about 40gb on AOL before they slap you with FUP's, or it could be less seen as they don't state what their limit is, so they could just slap you with an FUP for doing only 5gb, and nowt you can do as its up to them with no actual limit stated, they can do what they like.

But I've been billed for the laptop delivery, put my debit card details in for Direct Debit.

I got the welcome pack on Tuesday which states i'll get a letter confirming username and password in the next few days which never happened.

:(

I dunno what to do now...AOL aint been in contact with me.

forgive me, i'm confused? :p

anwyay, you might be able to cancel under distance selling regulations. get on the case. now. :D

BT tells me this morning that I can reuse the MAC even though it was used once already in a cancelled move. One mac per 30 days...

I input my MAC on AOL's website(30/9/07), only to be told by an automated service from AOL I haven't given a MAC, so had to give it to customer services this morning

Brilliant I'll have to see where things go now.

Why did you do that? No offence but nearly everyone in this thread told you what a mistake it was to go with AOL. You had a second chance to get out by not giving them a MAC code, surely? If you've already paid something i'm sure you could have got it back, too.

well aol also known as aol hell and you have gone down to the under world and still given them your mac code when most of us have advised you to get out.

There must be an echo on this thread... here it goes again...

For gawd's sake man don't go with AOHell  Cancel now while you're still in the cooling off period - you'll get a full refund. Can't say you weren't warned ;)
