Hi Guys

Bit of an odd question here.

I am a BTEC Level 3 Student, and need to use two different operating systems, as we have a new Mac Suite I have decided on OS X and Windows XP/Vista.

I need to use different commands in the relevant operating systems command line interface.

How can I navigate to a directory using terminal like in Windows using the 'cd' command?

Thanks in Advance.

You can also use cd.

Terminal uses unix commands so if you're familiar with Linux's Terminal, you can use the same knowledge in Mac OS X's Terminal :p

EDIT: Oops, realised my mistake :o

ls lists the contents of a directory. Unix variants (such as OS X) also have the cd command to navigate to a directory.

If you're new to unix, check this for basic info on commands
