MAC Equivalent to IIS/Xampp

Hi,

I need to host a small client info system in our office. There is a mac pro running 24/7 so I was going the PHP/MySQL based web app from there. What is the Mac equivalent to IIS/XAMPP server? Also, will I need to do anything special to allow -people connected directly to that pc to use the web based app (there are currently 3 people connected directly)?

Also, could a windows based laptop connect to the mac?

Am a total mac virgin so please go easy :)

You can get xampp for os x. Should run nicely.

As for a windows laptop connecting to the mac, do you mean to the web app? If so, the answer is yes. If you mean remove desktop or something, then the answer is also yes - get vnc or something set up and it'll work fine.
