Mac equivalent to WinRar, hjsplit and par software.

hi there, just got a macbook pro and trying to gather up some software for use with rar (WinRar), .001... (hjsplit) and par2 (par) files. Whats the best apps to use?

i use Unrarx

UnRarX for uncompressing files. Also has a parity checker in it for your PAR2 files.

Split & Concat for joining files together.

Don't suppose you could point to a decent download manager? I've been using free download manager on the pc. Any thing like this for the mac?

if you can use it try lxsplit for linux it may work on macs

For par files there's macpar deluxe, or the command line based par2cmdline
