Anyone in to their mac gaming here? Just got a 2013 Macbook Air (i7) and looking for some decent, must-have games for it that can be played with the keyboard/trackpad rather than mouse.

So far, just Football Manager 2014!

The main problem you have is not that you are on a mac but only using the trackpad means any sort of action games are out of the question. I loving Civ 5 at the moment, so I would recommend that.

I recommend Octodad! :D Using the trackpad makes it almost impossible but it is great fun.

Also, Minecraft.

Are you sure you don't want to try alternatives to gaming?

After all, the Mac is Built for creativity on an epic scale and it's Engineered for the Creative Class. It's The lightweight notebook that's anything but a lightweight.

Be creative. Be you. Everything^2. Redesigned. Reengineered, Re-everythinged. MacBook.

*DISCLAIMER*
I'm not making this up.

I got myself a rMBP (iris gfx :( ) and looking for some good laptop games too, I've bootcamped so I have Hotline Miami, Stick it to the Man! and Red Alert 3 to play through. Will be watching this thread closely!

picked up a little wireless mouse which should broaden my gaming possibilities a bit.

You can also get Xbox 360 controller drivers for the Mac that make the game treat it as if you were playing the Windows/ Xbox 360 version of the game.

What I mean by that is, it maps the correct controls per game for you :) And it's really easy to set up and use :D

NB: I have a 2013 MacBook Air and it can run Arkham City no problems as well as the others I mentioned.

Oh that could be fun, cheers for that, I'm sure I have an old one somewhere round here..
