Thought people might want to talk about this. I've been mainly using my Xbox but there are some games that are just better on a computer or are not on the Xbox. I'm thinking of getting back into EVE Online for example.

But this looks interesting if you are into Resident Evil:

Apparently Apple are really trying to improve gaming on Macs and I presume iPhones and iPads. Time will tell.

True. It would be good if they could beef up Apple Arcade. Maybe that is why they put the price up?
I'm going to stomach the increase because I mostly cannot be bothered to look at an alternate solution or decoupling Photos from iCloud. If it goes up again I will revisit my thoughts! Some decent games on Arcade could make up for it.

To some extent Chris is right although Apple have never been that serious about gaming on their platforms in the last few decades, with a lot of that stemming from Steve Jobs who wasn't much of a fan of games on 'his' devices, and i still don't think they are now - no real incentives for studios to port across and Apple burying their heads in the sand whilst throwing out token gestures.

For Apple to be taken seriously within the gaming sector, they really need to start throwing around some of their vast wealth and either directly incentivising devs or just purchasing studios (a la Microsoft and co) to create/port triple A titles across along with properly supporting gaming accessories.
