I dont no if this is the correct place to put this post sorry if it isnt
I bought a mac ibook second hand and i want to install windows xp onto it,
i havnt got any idea how to do it, the windows xp disc wont load up the laptop doesnt come with a mac cd, and when i load up the mac ibook it just stops at a blue screen.thx for any help

If it's really an iBook you have, not a MacBook... you can't install Windows. Only the Intel Macs have support for installing Windows, the iBook uses an old G3 processor.

I assume its got one of the old PowerPC IBM processors?

If so I'm afraid Windows wont install on it, you need a newer Apple computer with an Intel CPU for it to be compatible.

Well, technically, you can run windows on anything these days:

I bought oneof those skype adapters not knowing there was no Vista drivers and no one knew how to fix it. I just installed the above, installed Ubuntu and XP for when I want to use them without having to dual boot and it works fine. The Xp boots up in 7 seconds lol and I keep the VM running in the background for my skype phone with nothing else installed on it.
