Hi All,
I have just picked up a new 2017 MacBook Pro upgrading from a very old non retina MacBook Pro.
I am looking to set it up and Mac Migration Assistant seems to be the easiest way to transfer over all my apps and data.
However, I wanted to check, are there any drawbacks to using this method?
For example does it also copy various settings and temporary files that could slow down the new system?
Would I be better of manually installing all my applications and then manually copying over any data I need?
Thanks
