Mac Mini 2Ghz vs 2.26

How much really difference is there on the 2Ghz vs 2.26Ghz? How much real world difference doe 4GB vs 2GB RAM make and how much does it cost to change it?

I see a 2Ghz / 2GB / 500GB for £500 -seems like a good deal?


Do G4 macs take different ram to the Intel Macs?

Depends!

The Powermac G4 took SDRAM 133, the last PowerBook G4s took DDR. I have a G5 Powermac that takes DDR2, my G4 iBook took DDR i think! My old MacBook takes DDR2.

So you will be lucky if there is any cross over. We need models of each!

didn't wanna post links as they are all on a well known auction site. There's G4 mac minis which look like they may go for £200 or so - i don't know..

I would avoid the g4 mini's as snow leopard and probably future os x versions don't work on them. Add to that the lack of windows use on them too and you've got a bad deal really.
