Mac Mini and TV

Hi

My daughter asked for a Mac Mini and a TV for Xmas as she want a new tv a 32 inch tv and like to have a Mac mini to go with it as her iMac is now very slow as it 12 years old.

So I like to know will a Mac mini be good on this tv.

You'd be better off buying a 32" monitor rather than TV for using with Mac Mini. Monitors have features such as automatic wake from sleep and not throwing you into a Smart TV UI every time you turn them on.

You want a monitor really, if she's only watching tv shows on it....sell it and buy an Apple TV.

She got sky q

No room for 2 monitor. So it either a tv so she can watch tv and sky q or a monitor but how can she watch tv on a monitor pls

Are you saying a monitor can connect to a sky q box and it be tv? So only think I need to do is find a monitor that got audio speakers??

Yeah, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work? I maybe wrong but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Monitors come with multi hdmi ports these days would just be a case of selecting the one that it’s connected too.
