Mac Mini dilemma

A couple of months back I posted about my Mac Mini which went wrong after a power surge. Well I claimed on my house insurance and finally after about 6 weeks they have decided it is beyond economical repair and will be sending me a brand new Mac Mini.

Now in the meantime I bought a Macbook so I have no real 'need' for the Mac Mini anymore, although I do want a desktop machine. I'm wondering whether it is worth me selling the brand new Mac Mini and saving the money for when a new version comes out.

Have there been any indications as to when a new one is finally coming out?

According to the buyers guide at Mac Rumours it is due for an update soon.

Hasn't been updated for 526 days though, so don't hold your breath for a spec bump.

It was supposed to launch last week, however nothing came of it. Latest talk seems to be march?

I might just sell the new one then and wait then. This white Macbook I got from the refurb store is a better spec than my old Mini anyway, plus it's nice to have dual screen.
