matrox make something that splits the signal so you can use 2 montiors

A Matrox DualHead2Go would do the trick.

[edit] Just checked, it'll only do a pair of 1024x768 when run from a mini, d'oh!

With an adaptor, you can use clone or stretch displays, but not seperate afaik. Therefore not much use.

Can't do it properly. All you can do is make one very wide display across two screens - so your dock would be between the screens, all your apps would open across them, and all sorts of other crapness. Effectively the Mac wouldn't know it was outputting to two screens, it would think it was outputting to one bloody big wide one.

It was the main reason I chopped my Mini in for a Macbook, that.

grrr, how poo. really stops me from buying one tbh.

just gonna wait until i get my macbook and see what it is like having 1 screen with windows on for movies and games and 1 screen with osx on for work with synergy as a software kvm (without the v!!)
