Mac Mini Late 2012

Recently bought a Mac Mini and having a small problem with turning it on

If i push the power button, I get 3 short beeps and flashes which it only recently started doing the last couple of power ons.
If I hold the power button down or pull the power lead and then turn on again, it will be fine.

What could be causing this and how can I get it repaired?

I'm assuming you've Googled it first? Have you tried resetting PRAM etc? There are a number of commands you can try at boot.

Hello,

3 beeps usually means a RAM issue. Try reseating them, if still failing try 1 stick, then other stick, different slot etc.

Try reseating and swapping around but will try 1 at a time for now to see if still get the errors

Looks like one of the stick of memory may be faulty; took one out last night and since then its been booting first time every time
