I have a Mac Mini that I want to use with dual screens so I am planning on using a Mini DVI - DVI & Mini Displayport - DVI adaptor to connect them to the DVI ports on the monitors.

I then plan to plug the HDMI out from my Xbox360 into one monitors HDMI input and the PS3 HDMI into the other one.

So far I think this will work but I am unable to find an easy solution for sound.

I would like everything permanently connected so I can easily switch between devices just by changing the inputs of the monitors.

any ideas?

I currently have two TVs funnily enough but the picture looks rubbish if i'm using them as monitors.

I want to use them mainly as computer monitors.

So maybe I just need two new TVs then?

Has the monitors not got hdmi inputs as well as dvi?

Plug the Mac mini via dvi and the consoles via dvi.. The sound should be via 3.5mm jack coming from the mac to the speaker input of the monitor (3.5mm) jack. Hdmi should take care of the sound from the two consoles automatically.

If you want sound coming out of both monitors for the mac, just use a splitter so right is coming out of the right speaker of the right monitor and left is coming out of the left speaker on the monitor on the left. Anything else will just sound pants.
