Mac Mini refresh?

So im looking at getting a mac mini soon but after hearing the macbooks are going to be getting i3/i5 etc soon will the mac mini also? as i dont want to buy a core 2 duo one to find a i3/i5 one out the next day or something lol

No, you're fine. Have a look here and you'll see they're roughly mid cycle so there's no refresh on the cards for a while.
