HI,

has anyone had any experiance of running an intel mac mini @ 1366 X 768 by a VGA cable, does the mini support this resolution? it's for use with a sony LCD tv.

Thanks for any info, as the web seems very hit and miss if the mini will run at this resolution.

Yep, works beautifully. Up until recently this was exactly what I was using as an HTPC with my Sony V2000 32" HDTV. The picture quality on HD content was sublime, particularly when it all worked through Front Row :)

do you get the full 1366 X 768 or 1360 x 768?

I get 1360*768 on a Sharp Aquos which is 1366*768 native.
The picture is really good quality and I use mine as a media centre with Front Row. All I had to do was install a few codecs to make it work (for divx etc).

If it does not detect the correct res you can select Detect Displays from the display settings.

blue tooth keyboard and mouse? if so which ones because I'm very interested in getting a mini.

Apple make a good blue tooth keyboard, can't say much for the IMO awful mighty mouse

If you have problems with the display you can tweak the output from OS X to take into account overscan and the like. I run mine in a slightly tweaked 720p via component.

None at all. It recognises mine as a Sony TV.

1360x768 - sorry, should have made that clear.
