Hi Guys,

If i plug a usb2 hard disk into a mac will the mac be able to use it as storage for plex etc?

Yea just format it to HFS+ and away you go, any hdd is fine. Drop all your media onto it and set the plex settings to look for it.

how do i format it to HFS+ is there a mac utility?

aye, Disk Utility under the Utilities folder in Applications.

Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
