Mac Mini & Two Dell Monitors

Something strange is happening with one of the monitors I am using. One just refuses to display out. Although by unplugging and plugging back in the HDMI and Thunderbolt cable sometimes fixes it. However I have been trying for an hour now and nothings happening. Are there any tricks to try?

sounds like a faulty monitor if its always the same one that's doing it.

have you tired swapping the two monitors round so they plugged into different mini display ports on the back of the mac mini?

if the monitors have auto input select, it might be worth disabling that function as I had to do that with my hanns g monitors, but that's connected via usb/vga.

Another monitor has sorted it. I'll have to see what happens when I cold boot.
