Not having used Apples before (apart from the Apple II back in the early eighties) I've been tempted to buy a Mac Mini from a friend thats selling one, it's early 2009 model with 2 Ghz CPU, 4gig Ram, and 500gig hdd.
He wants £200.

Is it a decent price?

If it is the Core 2 Duo with 9400m thats an alright/good price. It has many years on the clock left.

I've got the 2010 Mac mini.

Specs are:

2.4GHz C2D.
8GB Ram.
320m.

Now while this is a nice little starter mac for yourself, with these specs it's only made for like, light editing (Photoshop is a breeze), but things that require a lot of CPU power, it may struggle there.

For £200 though? you'd be a fool not to pick it up from your friend.

It's an even better deal if it includes Apple Care too. :)

I'm selling my early 2009 Mac mini soon (8GB RAM, 500GB Momentus XT HDD and Leopard/Snow Leopard/Lion). I hope I get more than £200 for that! :(
