Mac Mini

Looking to get the 1.66 core duo mac mini; big question is does it need the 1gig upgrade. I currently have a ibook with 1.2gb of ram so does the mac mini need it too. I figured the faster processors might help it out?
Any feed back would be great

hmm im just worried as the ibook (only 1.2ghz) was very sluggish with 512mb; also im going to be using xcode a lot for my uni course so does that change things?
