MAC OS and MS exchange?

10.6.2 and 10.6.3 works fine with our Exchange 2007 platform using Exchange protocals

mail, calendar and contacts app have to be setup seperatly but all do sync off Exchange

You dont have to setup all 3 seperate. Once you add the account to Mail there will be an option when your details are verified asking whether you would like to sync your Contacts and Calendar.
 
I know it can work if you had a 'domain' enviroment. but what I want to know does it work with a 'hosted' exchange from the web. such as 1and1.co.uk and fasthost exchange.

Thanks :) As you can gather im not clued up when it comes to MAC OS.

Exchange is exchange whether its hosted or not. I was using Hosted Exchange for mine. As long as your domain is setup correctly then it wont be a problem.
