Hi all,

I'm losing the will to live on this one and thought I might see if anyone here has any ideas, didn't know if I should put this in the Mac section or in here, but here goes nothing....

We've got a Mac running OS X connecting to a terminal server running 2008 x64.

We are getting this error message in the event logs when the user logs in:

Event ID 1111:

Driver HP Color LaserJet 2800 Series PS required for printer HP Color LaserJet CP4005 is unknown. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again.

The printer is NOT an hp 2800, so I don't want it to look for that driver. I want it to use one of the CP4500 drivers I have installed.

I have deliberately removed the 2800 driver from the server so that it wouldn't use it, but now the printer doen't redirect into the session and this error appears instead.

I can put the 2800 driver back on and it works, but the issue is that the printer is a duplex printer and the 2800 driver doesn't do duplex printing.

If anyone can help me with this they can have a cookie cause it's doing my head in.

Thanks,

G

Never got this working, in the end I just set up a site to site VPN and added the printer directly on the TS across that.
