Currently the office I've just started working in today use Macs and I was wondering how similar Mac terminology usage is to Windows terminology etc.

I've already done the MCDST for microsoft and passed and I've got my HNC in Windows Computing, how much of this could be applied to learning macs etc?

The courses/exams I was thinking of doing was 9L0-403/510 (which are called snow 101/201 respectively.)

Would it be wise to go ahead with these exams and courses or should I just wing it and apply my windows based terminologies to the test. :p

Have any of you done these certificates?

That is the one I'll be doing plus with the Snow 202 for server administration stuff.

It would look good on my CV to say I'm both Windows and Mac affiliated too I imagine.

I hope the courses aren't like: "this is how you drag a file." :p

I understand they're for supporting users and 202 is server side. I've done a technical support course but only on a windows platform.

I found it really good, some is very simple and some quite complicated, there's quite a lot of command line stuff in there. I found it useful either way, and I've been using Macs for 8 or 9 years.

That sounds good, I only know Windows CLI.

Having both Windows and Mac will be beneficial.

Thanks for the comments. :)
