cheers for the help mate. Will report back on progress. Fresh install wont dont any harm as long as I don't lose any stuff! I think delocaliser might be best for removing unwanted languages. You tried it?

Yeah it's much simpler and works the same as Monolingual but its the safer option Intel Mac users

if only i had known all this before hand! I just noticed it when I ran dreamweaver and it didnt fire up. Then checked the monolingual forums and then i was really kicking myself

I really ought to figure out removing some of the bloat from my Mac - like the Office trial. Haven't figured out the uninstall stuff on a Mac (too used to add/remove programs

), so it all just stays where it is.

this is an absolutely fantastic app for removing applications. It picks up an application along with any files used by it and zaps it away. No unused files lying around the place.

Sounds like a good use of £7 to me. After I've tried it on Office of course (nothing like chucking it in at the deep end)

After the Office starter for 10, GarageBand may prove to be the main course. Haven't decided on the desert yet - iWork, maybe.

lol, you will have a field day!

Iv just completed my first (and hopefully last) archive and install. Now that is really where the mac is so much better than the windows based machine!

eh...just drag and drop it to the trash can and its gone, much better then that add/remove programs malark

oh and if you want to go ott use App Zapper! like jonnyc747 suggested
