Mac Pro 2007 vs 2009

guys, i have two systems and would like to get rid of one.

2007 (2,1) spec:
2 X 3.0GHZ Quad Core Cpu (8cores)
8800GT Graphic Card
8GB DDR2

2009 (4,1) Spec:
2.66 Quard Core CPU (4cores)
GT120 Graphic Card
4GB DD3

which one is better in terms of CPU speed?

i'll keep the 2009 so i can upgrade the parts in the future.
the scores on multi core for 2007 mac pro is the winner.

i found out over at macrumors forums, that you can upgrade these mac pro's cpu.

Core i7 970, 980, 980X, 990X, Xeon W3670, W3680 and W3690. all are supported
