Mac Pro - AirPort turned off

Hi,

A friends mac pro has a slight problem.

When we go into system preferences and select Network, the AirPort option have a red circle next to it saying it is turned off!.

How do we turn it back on?

The Air Port does not show within the list. Any ideas? Faulty laptop?

Is it a MacBook Pro or a Mac Pro?

In System Preferences > Network?

..and if it doesn't, try clicking the + button.

Have they been inside the laptop? , its quite easy to knock out the airport connector irrc

It may have been dislodged.

If you're in the locale of an Apple store they'll sort it for you for free assuming you're still covered by the warranties
